WELCOME VISITORS!  Thank you for worshiping with us this morning. Please fill out the Visitor Cards and place them in the alms basins during the offertory so we can send you our newsletter The Grapevine. Please join us for coffee and fellowship in the Parish Hall following the service.

ADULT FORUM this Sunday will be led by Mark Ashby, son of Judy Ashby, who has recently returned from Iraq. Last Summer Judy passed on a suggestion from Mark that we gather school supplies to send to several schools in the vicinity of Mark’s unit. He will share with us photos of the children and tell us about his work there.

EYC will meet tonight at 5:00 PM in the Parish Hall for dinner. Then we will head upstairs to our room for a meeting and some fun. Hope to see everyone there.

SAMARITAN MINISTRIES It is our week to provide volunteers at the Food Pantry. If you are interested in volunteering there please call the Reverend Jim Lancaster at 872-3937.

THE LORD IS MY HELP It is our week to provide volunteers at the Soup Kitchen. If you are interested in volunteering there please call Peggy Butera at 875-7049.

WEDNESDAY MORNING BIBLE STUDY continues this week at 10:00 AM with the Reverend Bruno Schroeder.

LENTEN SOUP SUPPERS – follow the 5:30 PM service. Our program for the season is, "Apologies to All." It examines the question, "How do we talk about our faith in a world of such deep divisions across faith barriers?" The program contrasts the views and teachings of C. S. Lewis for the Christian perspective and Sigmund Freud who raises the question of doubt and skepticism.

LENTEN PROGRAM FOR CHILDREN – "When the Saints Go Marching In." This week the children will be learning about St. Patrick since it is St. Patrick’s Day. Don’t forget to wear green.

CENTERING PRAYER This week at 4:30 PM on Thursday. Consider making this prayer time part of your Lenten discipline. Many have found centering prayer a blessed hour of renewal.

RELIGIOUS BOOK GROUP is meeting on Thursday, March 18, at 6:00 PM at the Morgan home (110 Clark Lane). The group will discuss the book "Three cups of Tea." It is open to everyone. Please call the hostess (875-7435) to bring a covered dish to the Common Meal that precedes the discussion.

ST. LUKE’S GUILD meets on Monday, March 29, at 7:00 PM at the home of Beth Riley (420 Russell Ave., Ocean Springs). It's potluck, so bring your favorite dish and a donation for the Preschool.

RENAISSANCE FAIRE NOTES: Next planning meting is Sunday, March 21, at 12:30 PM. King's Feast reservations ($60 per person) may be made by calling the church office (875-4454). King's Feast is Friday, April 23, in our newly completed Parish Hall. Orders are now being taken for Family Banners - complete the blue order form on the Usher Table and return with your check for $50. Banners are personalized with your family name and will be hung in the parish hall for the Queen's Tea and King's Feast.

QUEEN’S HIGH TEA (Costumes optional) is April 18, 2-4 PM in the Parish Hall. Tickets are $10.00 and may be purchased from Toni Norman, Jean Hanlin or the Church Office. Tickets for sitting at the Queen’s Table are $15.00. Questions regarding tickets and volunteering, please contact Toni Norman (219-6463) or Jean Hanlin (872-3386).

ST. JOHN’S PRESCHOOL Registration for the 2010-2011 school year is underway. Please call 872-3343 for registration information, ask for Jean or Donna.

THERE WILL BE a memorial service for Naomi Waller at 5:30 PM Wednesday, March 17.

EASTER BAPTISMS are scheduled for the Easter Vigil (the Saturday before Easter Sunday). Infants and small children will be baptized at a 4:00 PM service and adults at the 8:00 PM Vigil.

EASTER FLOWER Dedication Pages are in the Flower Book in the Narthex and yellow dedication sheets are on the Usher Table.

SEDER SUPPER sign-up sheet is on the bulletin board in the Narthex. Please sign up to bring items needed.

VIGIL (WATCH) sign-up sheet is on the bulletin board in the Narthex. Please give one half hour of your time to pray after the Maundy Thursday service until Good Friday morning.

NOTES TO THE CLERGY – Please use the “A Note to the Clergy” forms which are in the back of the church whenever you have news, prayer requests, etc. to communicate to the minister, also please put your name on it so that we can get in touch with you if we have questions. It is hard remembering everything we are told after a service, as well as who told us what. If there are “to dos”– – this is helpful.
